Fredrik Ternström, born in 1981, grew up in Gothenburg with salt spray in his hair and puns in his blood. He is trained in advertising and communication. In addition, he has university studies in cognitive neuroscience with a focus on consciousness and the brain; in course form.
"I'm drawn to the bizarre and the strange. Things that are taboo. Things that people don't talk about but are still there in many people's minds. Also, I like to weave fact-packed exposition into my novels. Not in any way with the ambition to scientifically account for details but to possibly arouse the reader's curiosity and interest to explore."
